Things I've stalked, bought and saved
Late-night scrolling, mindful buying, and the tools helping me shop more intentionally
Hi Homebodies,
Between late-night Pinterest deep dives, discovering new apps that actually make my life easier, and finally pulling the trigger on products I've been eyeing for months, my digital consumption has been all over the place - but in the best way.
I thought it might be fun (and helpful?) to share what's been catching my attention lately.
Things I’ve…stalked
Painting Ikea furniture
Ok, it's so specific, but I've become completely obsessed with how people are transforming their homes by adding personality to basic white Ikea furniture with bold, unexpected colours.
After two years in our house, my husband and I are finally ready to tackle some DIY improvements. I keep coming back to that bottom middle inspiration - those gorgeous blue shelves paired with rich brown couches. There's something about the way colour can completely change the energy of a space that has me scrolling through endless transformation on TikTok at 10pm.
Do you also love Pinterest? I have these ideas and more pinned in a board here.

Things I’ve….bought
Sunday Riley A+ Retinol Serum (shown in a pack with the Luna Night Oil): This serum has become a non-negotiable in my evening skincare routine. It's the first retinol I've tried that's actually made a visible difference - helping with breakouts, pore appearance, and the discolouration I've been dealing with, particularly around my cheeks, nose and chin.
Reliquia Keshi Strand Pearl Necklace: I snagged this during a recent sale and it's quickly become my go-to piece for adding instant polish to any outfit. Sometimes the simplest additions make the biggest impact.
Paper Lamp from Bunnings with a Smart Globe: Good lighting changes everything, especially when you're creating calm evening routines with little ones around. This soft light has become essential for winding down - we use a smart globe so we can adjust the colour and brightness from our phone (red light at half brightness is perfect for bedtime).
Beetl Skincare: I'm always searching for gentle, effective products that work for the whole family. When our toddler recently caught a daycare virus that triggered an eczema flare-up, we turned to these - the cream for all-over application and the balm for particularly irritated spots. I've also been using it on my hands, which have been incredibly dry since the cold weather hit.
Things I’ve…saved
Rather than impulse buying, I use now use Carted to keep track of products that are out of stock so I get notified when they're available again, or to monitor items I'm waiting to go on sale.
The best part is being able to save things straight from any browser directly into the app, which means I can actually organise my wish list instead of having random screenshots scattered across my phone. You can also create folders, so I have different spaces for clothing, home, etc.
What I love even more is they have their own Substack () which takes you behind the scenes of people's, you guessed it, shopping. There's something fascinating about seeing what others are buying. I particularly enjoyed this interview with Zara Wong.
