Fun fact, I hate following recipes. And in the past, this has meant that I was never great at baking because it’s kinda a science, right?
(I also used to skip / get thrown out of my high school science class, so this is all starting to make sense).
Today’s recipe was created from me not following another recipe. I kept on tweaking the OG, changing up the amounts and even the ingredients, until I hit the jackpot.
I’m a savoury girl, so this is the perfect cookie that’s not too sweet, but still hits the spot.
I’ve made it basically every single week since having baby H arrived and the cool thing is that they double as ‘normal’ cookies, but also as lactation cookies if you add a secret ingredient. They are perfect for those who are breastfeeding, so you can bake for yourself/freeze the cookie dough for meal prep or bake some for your new-mum-bestie.
